BASSCRAFT is a haptic audio company that turns any car seat into a subwoofer you feel, for drivers who want their music to hit like it does at a live show. Our first product, the BASSCRAFT haptic cushion and controller, converts the music already playing in your car into synchronized low-frequency vibration through your back. No app, no Bluetooth, no tools.
What BASSCRAFT does
The BASSCRAFT Haptic Cushion
A seat cushion with two high-torque haptic transducers built in, tuned to reproduce 10 Hz to 200 Hz, the range you feel more than hear. It straps to your existing seat with a headrest hook, a side buckle and a bottom rail clip, so there are no permanent changes to your car.
The BASSCRAFT Controller
A compact controller that sits in your center console. A built-in microphone listens to whatever is playing in the cabin and drives it into the cushion in real time over a direct analog path, so the bass lands in sync with the track. Three knobs set frequency, noise gate and intensity, and an optional wired line-in is included for a direct feed.
Starter Kit and Double Kit

No trunk sacrifice and no install
A traditional trunk subwoofer takes up cargo space and usually means an amp, wiring and a shop visit. BASSCRAFT sets up in seconds with no tools and comes out just as fast when you switch cars.
Made for driving, not gaming rigs
Seat transducers like the ButtKicker Gamer line are designed to clamp onto gaming and sim-racing chairs at home. BASSCRAFT is designed around a car seat, a car's power and the way sound moves through a car cabin.
No Bluetooth, no lag, works with any stereo
Because the controller listens to the sound in the cabin over an analog path, there is no pairing and no wireless latency to feel. It works with whatever stereo you already have, factory or aftermarket.
Patent-pending method from a biomedical engineer
The core method, converting ambient in-cabin audio into synchronized low-latency haptics, is patent pending. It was developed by co-founder Arman Sidhu, a biomedical engineer with a background in hearing technology that carries sound through vibration.

The team behind BASSCRAFT
Origin story
BASSCRAFT was founded in Austin in 2026, but the idea started 12 years earlier when Arman worked alongside a bone-conduction hearing aid company. He watched kids try the devices on and hear their mother's voice for the first time, and asked one question: what if we could give even 1% of that feeling to everyone through music?
Arman Sidhu, Co-founder (Product and Engineering)
Biomedical engineer with years in medical devices, including hearing tech that transmits sound through vibration into the body. Arman leads product, engineering, IP and manufacturing.
Dan Ragan, Co-founder and CEO (Brand and Growth)
Founder of UGC Factory, an Austin creative agency that makes performance ads for DTC brands, and previously co-ran Applause, a live-streaming agency whose clients included Bose, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Dan leads brand, marketing, partnerships and distribution.
Where we build
BASSCRAFT is a small, founder-led team based in Austin, Texas. We have demoed BASSCRAFT at the Texas School for the Deaf, where students and staff felt music through it, and we are working to bring it to more schools for the Deaf.

What is BASSCRAFT?

Is BASSCRAFT a subwoofer?
